About Vitacore:
At Vitacore, we integrate cutting-edge research and technology with a profound commitment to sustainability and innovation. Established in 2020, Vitacore is driven by our mission to develop transformative products and services that address critical global issues, ensuring ethical practices and effective outcomes for the betterment of humankind and the planet. Our journey began with a focus on the healthcare sector, where we became leaders in manufacturing recycling single-use protective equipment. Today, we apply our expertise and innovative spirit to broader challenges, developing advanced technologies, sustainable practices, and innovative manufacturing processes that redefine what is possible across various industries.
As part of our continued expansion, Vitacore is establishing operations in Ontario and is seeking a driven, hand-on leader to support the launch and ongoing management of our new warehouse facility.
About the Role:
Vitacore Industries is seeking a highly driven, hands-on Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor to lead daily operations at our new Ontario facility located in Dorchester, just outside of London. This is a foundational role in our Ontario expansion and will play a critical part in building, organising, and executing warehouse and logistics operations from the ground up.
This is not a passive maintenance position, it is an active, build-and-improve leadership role. The successful candidate will take ownership of setting up operational workflows, organising inventory systems, coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, and ensuring the facility operates efficiently, safely, and with high accuracy. Working closely with Operations leadership and alongside a Machine Technician, this individual will help establish the operational backbone of the site as it grows.
This role requires a floor-based leader who works alongside the team, not from behind a desk, and can coordinate up to 20 combined FTL shipments daily (inbound and outbound) while maintaining operational flow, safety, and precision. While the position may not initially oversee a large team, it demands authority, strong decision-making capabilities, and the ability to operate independently while remaining aligned with head office.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, operationally minded, and solutions-driven; someone who communicates clearly and professionally, takes full ownership of their responsibilities, and leads by example. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, performs well under pressure, and is comfortable building systems, structure, and accountability from the ground up.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to grow with the company and contribute to building something long-term.
Responsibilities include:
Facility & Warehouse Operations:
- Support the setup, organisation, and workflow development of the new Ontario warehouse.
- Establish and refine warehouse workflows during facility setup and growth.
- Maintain facility standards including safety, cleanliness, housekeeping, and organisation across shifts.
- Own day-to-day order fulfillment execution, ensuring orders are released, picked, staged, and shipped within promised ETAs.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, managing dock flow and minimizing congestion.
- Schedule and execute freight pickups and deliveries.
- Coordinate up to 20 FTL/LTL shipments daily (inbound and outbound combined).
- Oversee pallet movement, storage layout, vertical stacking strategy, and material flow.
- Rebuild, reconfigure, and optimize pallets to maximize cubic capacity and safe stacking heights.
- De-nest pallets and break down inbound product efficiently to support workflow and space utilization.
- Monitor staffing levels, workflow, and productivity to meet service and cost targets.
- Provide hands-on operational support when staffing gaps arise.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage controls, and operational discipline are maintained.
Inventory & Materials Management:
- Maintain accurate and controlled inventory processes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
- Track lot numbers and maintain traceability controls.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate transfers of raw materials and finished goods.
- Maintain accurate shipment and receipt records.
- Prepare inventory and operational performance reports for management review.
- Utilize Excel, Outlook, and internal systems to track and report KPIs.
Logistics & Vendor Coordination:
- Act as the primary Ontario contact for suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners.
- Communicate daily with transportation providers and 3PL partners in Canada and the U.S.
- Monitor delivery timelines and escalate delays, discrepancies, damages, or service failures.
- Monitor carrier performance and hold partners accountable to service standards.
- Organise shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.
- Investigate root causes of transportation issues and implement corrective actions.
- Support freight booking and execution as required.
- Support purchasing of operational supplies as needed.
Process Development & Continuous Improvement:
- Establish structure, accountability, and operational standards during facility growth.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical, measurable improvements.
- Think strategically in terms of workflow, dock flow, space utilization, and throughput.
- Proactively identify safety risks and drive corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
- Maintain equipment and facility conditions across shifts.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, physically active environment.
- Ability to lift 50–70 lbs and work extended periods standing.
- Flexible schedule, including nights or weekends when required.
- Comfortable using hand tools and basic warehouse equipment.
Compensation:
- From $65,000 to $80,000 CAD per annum.
- Comprehensive medical and dental benefits.
