About the Role:
Vitacore is seeking a creative, efficient, and versatile Graphic Designer Consultant to provide ongoing design support across our products, brands, sales initiatives, and marketing activities.

 

This is a fully remote independent contractor opportunity suitable for a designer who enjoys working across a wide variety of projects rather than within a narrow design specialty.

 

The successful consultant will be able to take ideas, written content, product information, photographs, and existing brand assets and quickly turn them into polished, professional materials that can be used by our sales, marketing, and leadership teams.

 

We value practical creativity, speed, responsiveness, and consistency. The ability to produce strong commercial design work efficiently is more important to us than formal credentials.

 

·       Design sales sheets, brochures, product sheets, flyers, presentations, and other sales collateral.

·       Develop graphics and creative assets for social media platforms.

·       Create digital advertisements, website graphics, email graphics, and promotional materials.

·       Design trade show graphics, banners, displays, signage, and other large-format materials.

·       Create and edit product imagery for sales, marketing, and e-commerce use.

·       Develop packaging, labels, boxes, inserts, and other product packaging materials.

·       Create templates that can be reused internally for presentations, sales documents, social media, and marketing campaigns.

·       Adapt existing creative materials into multiple formats and dimensions.

·       Retouch and manipulate photographs and product images.

·       Support the development and maintenance of consistent visual branding across Vitacore products and business units.

·       Create basic motion graphics or short animated assets where appropriate.

·       Work from creative briefs while also contributing design ideas and recommendations.

·       Incorporate feedback quickly and manage revisions efficiently.

·       Maintain organized working files and provide Vitacore with final editable/source files.

·       Manage multiple design requests and deadlines simultaneously.

·       Strong portfolio demonstrating commercial graphic design work.

·       Proven experience designing marketing and sales collateral.

·       Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or equivalent professional design tools.

·       Experience preparing materials for both digital and print production.

·       Experience with product imagery, packaging, social media graphics, and marketing materials.

·       Strong understanding of layout, typography, branding, colour, and visual hierarchy.

·       Ability to work from established branding while also developing new creative concepts.

·       Strong attention to detail.

·       Ability to produce quality work efficiently and meet agreed deadlines.

·       Comfortable receiving direct feedback and completing revisions.

·       Strong organizational and communication skills.

·       Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

·       Professional working proficiency in English.

·       Experience with video editing, motion graphics, 3D product rendering, Canva, Figma, or similar tools would be considered an asset.

·       Formal design education is an asset but is not required where demonstrated by a strong portfolio.

·       Target rate of approximately $10-$20 per hour, depending on experience, portfolio, and scope of work

·       Vitacore is also open to fixed project pricing or an ongoing monthly retainer
